Are you an experienced Conveyancer or Conveyancing Solicitor looking for your next opportunity?
We're seeking a motivated and client-focused legal professional with at least 2 years' experience managing your own conveyancing caseload to join our busy and supportive team in Chelmsford.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for handling your own varied caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to post-completion, delivering exceptional client service while working within a collaborative and well-established team.
- Your Responsibilities
- Manage your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion.
- Handle freehold, leasehold, registered and unregistered sales and purchases.
- Deal with remortgages, transfers of equity, new build properties and shared ownership transactions.
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other solicitors to progress matters efficiently.
- Review title documentation, searches, enquiries and mortgage offers.
- Draft and approve contracts and transfer documentation.
- Exchange contracts and complete transactions.
- Maintain accurate file management and ensure compliance with SRA and AML requirements.
- Deliver a high standard of client care throughout every transaction.
- Support the continued growth and success of the Residential Property team.
What We're Looking For
Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive (CILEX) or experienced Conveyancer.
Minimum of 2 years' experience managing your own conveyancing caseload.
- Strong technical knowledge across all aspects of conveyancing.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive, commercial and solution-focused approach.
