CNC Operator in Basildon

A leading high-precision manufacturing company is looking for skilled CNC Operators to join their Basildon team.

You will be responsible for producing high-precision components on multi-axis CNC machines, including 4 and 5-axis milling and turn/mill machines, while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multi-axis CNC machines
• Inspect parts using CMM and other measurement tools to ensure compliance with drawings
• Follow safety procedures and production standards
• Maintain logs of production, machine adjustments, and repairs
• Maximise machine uptime through preventative maintenance
• Support team members and production requirements as needed

Skills & Experience

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Experience working to high-quality, precision standards (Aerospace/Defence desirable)
• Knowledge of manufacturing regulations, procedures, and safety standards
• Time-served or demonstrable relevant CNC experience
• Attention to detail, teamwork, and strong communication skills
