About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Miller Setter Programmer to join a well-established and growing engineering company. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist with strong programming and setting experience to work on high-quality precision components in a modern manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines
- Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Producing precision components to tight tolerances
- Editing and proving out programs at the machine
- Selecting correct tooling, fixtures and cutting parameters
- Carrying out quality inspections using measuring equipment
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller Setter Programmer
- Ability to program online and/or offline
- Experience with Haas and Siemens controls preferred
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and quality standards
