A leading high-precision manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Stores & Logistics Lead to join their Basildon site. This hands-on role is key to ensuring accurate stock control, efficient goods movement, and smooth day-to-day stores and logistics operations that support manufacturing and customer delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead stores and logistics operations at the site
- Manage goods in, storage, kitting, and dispatch activities
- Maintain stock accuracy, FIFO rotation, and WMS integrity
- Launch materials to manufacturing and manage finished goods dispatch
- Coordinate with Purchasing and support inventory counts
- Ensure packaging standards prevent transit damage
- Manage non-BOM items, KANBANs, and stock levels
About You
- Proven experience leading a small operational team
- Strong working knowledge of WMS and stock control processes
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Counterbalance forklift license and manual driving license
- Confident working with suppliers and internal stakeholders
