Your Role:
As an Air and Ocean Freight Operations Administrator, you\’ll play an integral part in ensuring the smooth operation of our air and sea freight services. From coordinating shipments to fostering exceptional client relationships, your responsibilities will directly contribute to the success of our business.
What You\’ll Do:
- Act as a client champion by ensuring their needs are met or exceeded.
- Prepare competitive quotes and manage bookings for air and ocean freight.
- Use our cutting-edge Freight Management System to create and monitor jobs.
- Work closely with accounts to resolve sales and cost queries.
- Assist in identifying new business opportunities to drive growth.
- Manage key accounts, attending client meetings, and maintaining long-term partnerships.
- Uphold compliance as a \”known agent,\” ensuring all processes adhere to strict industry standards.
What You Bring:
- In-depth knowledge of shipping processes, including FCL & LCL ocean imports and end-to-end documentation.
- Strong A&O export knowledge (a plus!).
- Excellent communication skills with a wide network of suppliers, both domestic and overseas.
- Proactive, organized, and driven to help achieve departmental and personal targets.
