As a Class 1 Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of hazardous chemicals in bulk tankers to customer sites across the UK. You will play a key role in ensuring products are delivered safely and on time while complying with all relevant transport legislation, company procedures and health and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities
Safely transport hazardous chemicals in bulk tankers to customer sites across the UK. Ensure full compliance with
ADR regulations
and all relevant transport legislation. Carry out thorough vehicle and equipment checks before, during and after journeys. Maintain accurate driving, delivery and compliance records. Comply fully with
Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations . Wear and maintain the required PPE in accordance with company procedures. Deliver a high standard of customer service and represent the company professionally at all times. Communicate effectively with customers, transport planners and colleagues. Follow all company
Health & Safety, ISO and operational procedures . Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest professional standard. Report any vehicle, equipment, safety or operational issues promptly. About You
We are looking for an experienced tanker driver who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of safety when transporting hazardous materials. Essential Requirements
Valid
HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence . ADR Qualification
Classes 8 & 9 required. Previous
tanker driving experience . Valid
Driver CPC qualification . Valid
Digital Tachograph Card . Clean or near-clean driving licence. Strong knowledge of UK road networks and route planning. Good understanding of transport legislation and compliance requirements. Professional, reliable and safety-focused approach. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Desirable Experience
Previous experience transporting hazardous chemicals. Experience within the
chemical manufacturing, bulk transport or industrial sector . Experience dealing directly with commercial customers and industrial sites. What We Offer
