Job description: Job Title: Maintenance Operative Location: Leigh-on-Sea Hours and shifts: 4 days on and 4 days off 06:00-18:00 Position Type: Temporary to Permanent Salary: £12.71 p/h (Weekly pay) plus weekend premium £16.52 ph Key Responsibilities: Read and comprehend work instructions, maintenance manuals, operating procedures, and customer specifications. Demonstrate proficiency in understanding process paperwork and parts control. Execute disassembly of aircraft wheel and brake parts in accordance with maintenance manuals. Perform dismounting of aircraft tyres. Utilize dedicated cleaning machines for the cleaning of aircraft wheels and brakes. Clean aircraft wheel and brake structural and component parts meticulously. Operate media blasters effectively for paint removal. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area. Flexibility to work various shifts as per customer requirements.
