Warehouse Operative/ Flt Driver in Chelmsford

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative/ Flt Driver to join a busy and growing warehouse team based in Witham. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high standards of accuracy and customer service. Key Responsibilities Loading and unloading goods and supplies Checking deliveries for damaged or missing items Booking in and storing stock accurately Moving stock manually or using lifting equipment and forklift trucks Loading and unloading shipping containers Picking and packing multi-item customer orders Maintaining accurate warehouse records and paperwork Keeping work areas clean, organised, and safe Communicating with customers via email and telephone Using WMS systems Ensuring all warehouse activities are carried out in accordance with Health and Safety regulations The Ideal Candidate Will Have Previous warehouse experience, particularly in picking and packing multi-piece orders Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Good level of spoken and written English A proactive and reliable approach to work Good attention to detail and accuracy The ability to work effectively as part of a team A good level of physical fitness, as the role involves regular lifting and manual handling A valid FLT licence is desirable What We Offer Competitive salary Ongoing training and development Friendly and supportive working environment Opportunity to join a stable and growing business
