A1 Personnel are currently recruiting for a Mechanical & Electrical Engineer for a perm role on behalf on our client based in Isle of Grain, Rochester, Kent. Duties and Responsibilities: Perform regular inspections and maintenance on production machinery and equipment. Carry out mechanical repairs and maintenance, such as bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, couplings, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding. Identify and rectify faults efficiently to minimize downtime and optimize productivity. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment condition. Adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Requirements: Relevant engineering qualification (City and Guilds preferred). Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a production/manufacturing environment. Strong electrical skills with expertise in 3-phase systems, motors, sensors, inverters, relays, PLCs, and fault finding. Proficiency in mechanical repairs and maintenance, including bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, couplings, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding.
