Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented M&E Process Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimising manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency and quality in production. This position requires a strong background in engineering principles, particularly in the areas of mechanical systems and plastics injection moulding. The Process Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and resolve any technical challenges that arise.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain schematics for production processes to ensure clarity and efficiency.
- Utilise logic controllers to automate and enhance manufacturing operations.
- Create detailed designs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD for process improvements and new equipment.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues within the production line.
- Oversee plastics injection moulding processes, ensuring optimal performance and quality control.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify problems in the manufacturing process and implement effective solutions.
- Fabricate prototypes or components as necessary for testing new processes or equipment.
- Lead continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing productivity, reducing waste, and enhancing product quality.
