We are seeking a skilled Manual Grinder to join our team in Basildon. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating manual grinding machines to produce precision-engineered components to high tolerances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate manual surface, cylindrical, or centerless grinding machines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Use measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure precision.
- Set up and adjust grinding machines for optimal performance.
- Maintain equipment and ensure a safe working environment.
- Work with various materials, including steel, aluminum, and other alloys.
- Ensure quality control checks are completed and documented.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Manual Grinder in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
