We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and growing warehouse team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high standards of accuracy and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading goods and supplies
- Checking deliveries for damaged or missing items
- Booking in and storing stock accurately
- Moving stock manually or using lifting equipment and forklift trucks
- Loading and unloading shipping containers
- Picking and packing multi-item customer orders
- Maintaining accurate warehouse records and paperwork
- Keeping work areas clean, organised, and safe
- Communicating with customers via email and telephone
- Using WMS systems
- Ensuring all warehouse activities are carried out in accordance with Health and Safety regulations
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Previous warehouse experience, particularly in picking and packing multi-piece orders
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good level of spoken and written English
- A proactive and reliable approach to work
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A good level of physical fitness, as the role involves regular lifting
