Do you have experience managing a despatch department? My client is one of the largest international independent manufacturers of aerospace detailed parts and is recruiting for a Despatch Operator who has knowledge of Export.

Purpose of role and key accountabilities:

  • A background in running a dispatch department would be highly advantageous.
  • Responsible for all delivery paperwork, PODs including tracking of parts.
  • Knowledge of export requirements to Europe and USA and to chase and track deliveries is an advantage.
  • Works well in a high-pressure environment.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build a strong team with a good working relationship with other departments.
  • Strong administration, organisation, and IT skills.
  • Responsible for undertaking all export shipments, including communications with couriers.
  • Ensure all KPIs, targets and safety objectives are being met or exceeded in the department.
