Lead Passive Fire Protection Surveyor in Chelmsford

Are you an experienced Passive Fire Protection Surveyor with strong technical knowledge and hands-on installation experience? This is an excellent opportunity to take on a lead surveying role, combining site-based surveying with coordination, client engagement, reporting and business development.
The Role
- Carry out and oversee fire compartmentation, fire door and passive fire protection surveys
- Identify defects and non-conformances against relevant regulations, standards and manufacturer requirements
- Coordinate survey schedules, RAMS, equipment and labour
- Produce accurate, high-quality survey reports
- Prepare survey information and data for costing and project pricing
- Attend site visits and build strong professional relationships with clients
- Support client engagement and identify opportunities for additional services
- Contribute to business development, advertising and tender submissions
- Maintain high standards of health & safety, compliance and industry best practice
- Investigate non-conformances and maintain accurate records
- Support colleagues and provide professional leadership within the surveying function

- Proven experience in passive fire protection surveying
- Hands-on installation experience with fire protection systems – essential
- Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations, standards and industry requirements
- Experience preparing cost estimates, quotations and project pricing
