Job Description Residential Conveyancing Solicitor Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday An established and growing law firm in Chelmsford is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join its busy Property Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional to manage a varied residential property caseload while delivering a high standard of client care. The successful candidate will work within a supportive team environment, handling transactions from instruction through to completion and helping to maintain strong relationships with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, developers and other key stakeholders. Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including: Re-mortgages New build transactions Provide clear, practical legal advice to clients throughout the transaction process. Conduct client onboarding procedures, including compliance with anti-money laundering requirements, identity verification and source of funds checks. Prepare and approve legal documentation, including contracts, transfer deeds and mortgage documentation. Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive with experience in residential property law. Proven ability to independently manage a residential conveyancing caseload. Strong technical knowledge of the conveyancing process from instruction to post-completion. Experience using conveyancing case management systems and digital property platforms is advantageous.
