Job Description Private Client Solicitor (NQ – 5 Years PQE) Position: Full-Time, Permanent An excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated and client-focused Private Client Solicitor to join a well-established and growing legal practice in Chelmsford. This role is ideally suited to a solicitor from Newly Qualified level up to 5 years' PQE who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and progressive Private Client team. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will advise individuals and families on a broad range of private client matters, providing practical legal solutions and exceptional client service throughout. Manage a varied caseload of private client matters, with appropriate supervision depending on experience level. Wills and estate planning Lasting Powers of Attorney Trust administration and succession planning Prepare and draft legal documents accurately and efficiently. Conduct client meetings both in person and remotely. Deliver clear, practical and commercially aware legal advice tailored to individual circumstances. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and file management requirements. Contribute to business development activities and help strengthen professional referral networks. You will have a genuine interest in Private Client work and a desire to build long-term relationships with clients while developing your technical expertise.
