We are currently recruiting for a skilled CNC Miller to join a reputable precision engineering company based in Basildon. Rate: £23 – £25 per hour (DOE)
Shift: Day Shift – Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join a well-established precision engineering company in Basildon. This is a hands-on role involving the programming, setting, and operation of CNC milling machines, working on high-quality, tight-tolerance components.
Key Responsibilities
- Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines
- Working primarily with HAAS 5-axis machines
- Producing components to precise engineering drawings and specifications
- Editing and proving programs at the machine
- Using measuring equipment to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller
- Strong background in 3-axis and 5-axis machining (5-axis preferred)
- Experience with Siemens control systems
- Ability to program, set, and operate independently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Experience working to tight tolerances
