A1 Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver / Yard Operative to join a busy logistics operation based in Stanford-le-Hope.
This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for a reliable and hardworking candidate looking for a long-term position with a growing company.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating FLT safely and efficiently within the yard and warehouse
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Moving and positioning stock and materials
- Carrying out general yard duties
- Keeping the yard and work areas clean, tidy and organised
- Supporting the warehouse team with day-to-day operations
- Following all health & safety procedures
- Ensuring goods are handled safely and correctly
Requirements
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or yard environment
- Counterbalance FLT licence – essential
- Reach Truck licence – highly desirable
- Previous yard experience would be an advantage
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a busy yard environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
