Flt Driver - Night Shift in Basildon

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Night Shift Forklift Driver to join our dynamic warehouse team.

This role is essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods during overnight hours. As a key player in our logistics operations, you will handle materials handling, shipping and receiving, and equipment maintenance with precision and safety at the forefront.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility during night shifts
• Manage inventory using warehouse management systems to track incoming and outgoing shipments accurately
• Perform routine equipment repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal operational condition
• Handle materials with care, adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and proper storage procedures
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying shipments against documentation and inspecting for damages or discrepancies
• Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment and work areas, reporting any issues promptly
• Support warehouse operations by organizing storage areas, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring efficient workflow

The Role

• Night shift working on a rota system

Requirements

• Valid FLT licence
• Previous forklift experience
• Reliable and flexible approach
• Good Health & Safety awareness
• Comfortable working night shifts and weekends
