We are seeking dedicated LLOP Pickers to join one of our clients' warehouse teams. The successful candidates will be responsible for efficiently selecting and preparing goods for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and safety throughout the process. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience to develop their skills within a dynamic environment. The position involves handling materials, operating equipment, and maintaining high standards of quality control to support smooth warehouse operations.
Duties:
- Utilise warehouse management systems to accurately pick items according to order specifications
- Operate LLOP (Low Level Order Picker) equipment safely and effectively for stock retrieval
- Handle materials with care, including loading and unloading goods using appropriate mechanical aids such as forklifts when necessary
- Stock shelves and organise products to optimise space utilisation and accessibility
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, ensuring correct documentation and handling procedures are followed
- Conduct quality control checks on picked items to maintain product integrity and minimise errors
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets and support overall warehouse efficiency
Experience:
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred, particularly in materials handling, picking & packing, or stock management
- Knowledge of forklift operation is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided if necessary
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is desirable for efficient order processing
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with loading/unloading equipment will be considered a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently throughout shifts
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in order accuracy and quality assurance
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment
