Job Opportunity: Forklift Counterbalance Operator Location: Maldon Salary: £12.50 per hour Position: Full-Time Key Duties: As a Forklift Counterbalance Operator, youll be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse environment, handling deliveries, and supporting production when necessary. Key responsibilities include: Safety Awareness: Understand and communicate top safety risks; report near misses and use the red card system when needed. Warehouse Safety Practices: Complete behavior-based safety observations and 6S reports, keep work areas clean and clear, and follow the 100% clear aisle policy. Equipment Checks: Conduct safety checks on equipment (PIT, racking, ramps). Inventory Handling: Accurately receive deliveries, process customer returns, prepare and load orders, and update stock locations in Navision. Freight & Dispatch: Book UK freight consignments and handle dispatch paperwork in line with SOPs. Recycling & Waste Management: Manage scrap material and operate recycling lines as per SOPs.
