Do you have experience managing a despatch department? My client is one of the largest international independent manufacturers of aerospace detailed parts and is recruiting for a Despatch Operator who has knowledge of Export.
Purpose of role and key Responsibilities:
- A background in running a dispatch department would be highly advantageous.
- Responsible for all delivery paperwork, PODs including tracking of parts.
- Knowledge of export requirements to Europe and USA and to chase and track deliveries is an advantage.
- Works well in a high-pressure environment.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build a strong team with a good working relationship with other departments.
- Strong administration, organisation, and IT skills.
- Responsible for undertaking all export shipments, including communications with couriers.
- Ensure all KPIs, targets and safety objectives are being met or exceeded in the department.
