Hours: Monday to Thursday 17:00 – 04:00

Pay rate: £14.50

Job Summary
We are seeking for a CNC machine assistant to join one of our clients manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and some experience with CNC machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications.
• Assemble components using logic controllers and tooling as required.
• Perform regular maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products, utilising basic maths for measurements and calculations.
• Collaborate with team members in the warehouse to manage inventory and materials effectively.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and perform basic repairs as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Training Provided

Requirements

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery
• Familiarity with tooling and assembly processes related to CNC operations.
• Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Due to location must have own transport to travel or be local to get to the area
