We are seeking a dynamic and safety-conscious Telescopic Forklift Driver to join our team. In this role, you will operate a telescopic forklift—also known as a telehandler—to efficiently move, lift, and position materials across our facility. Your expertise will ensure smooth warehouse operations, precise handling of goods, and adherence to safety protocols. Responsibilities
- Safely operate telescopic forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and yard areas.
- Conduct routine inspections of the forklift before each shift to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Assist with stacking, organizing, and storing inventory in designated areas with precision and care.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate material movement for production or shipping needs.
- Maintain accurate records of materials moved and equipment usage in accordance with company procedures.
- Perform minor mechanical troubleshooting and basic maintenance on the forklift as needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Skills
- Proven experience operating telescopic forklifts or telehandlers in a commercial setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to identify issues and perform basic repairs or adjustments.
- Valid commercial driving license with relevant certification for operating heavy machinery.
- Familiarity with other equipment such as excavators is a plus, demonstrating versatility in machinery handling.
