Recycling Operative in Perth

We are seeking dedicated Recycling Workers to join our clients team.

We are looking for candidates who can offer flexibility between day and night shift.

The successful candidate will be responsible for sorting, processing, and managing recyclable materials in a safe and efficient manner. Responsibilities

• Sort recyclable materials accurately according to type and quality standards
• Operate basic machinery and equipment used in recycling processes
• Load and unload materials, often involving heavy lifting to move items safely
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the recycling area to ensure safety and efficiency
• Assist with the maintenance and minor repairs of recycling equipment, applying mechanical knowledge as needed
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times to minimize risks in the workplace
• Record quantities of materials processed for reporting purposes
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets

Requirements

• Prior experience or knowledge of mechanical systems is advantageous
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on a regular basis
