Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30, Friday 06:00 - 13.00
Pay: £15.50-£23.25 per hour (basic £15.50 + overtime £23.25)

The Role
Due to increased demand for our client's products and internal reorganisation, we have an opportunity for a Systems Operator to join our main metal fabrication facility in Bathgate. This role is key to supporting our team of Fabricator/Welders by ensuring materials are prepared, handled, and processed efficiently within the workshop.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading materials
- Operating a horizontal bandsaw to cut materials to specification
- Selecting, measuring, and preparing materials for fabrication
- Prepping and painting steps, tanks, and associated components
- Mechanical build‑up of sub‑assemblies
- Checking and preparing steelwork (new and existing) for the paint process
- Storing components safely and maintaining a tidy, organised depot
- Operating forklift trucks (counterbalance and sideloader) as required
About You
- Experience working in a fast‑paced engineering or workshop environment
- Valid forklift certificate (essential), ideally with counterbalance and sideloader experience
- Strong awareness of health and safety practices
- Reliable, hardworking, and flexible approach to work
- Ability to work as part of a team and support multiple functions within the workshop
