A1 Jobs have an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join our client in the Ayrshire area.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out reactive and proactive maintenance safely on production plant and equipment ensuring production (and site) downtime is kept to a minimum.
  • Ensure routine maintenance schedules are completed on time every time.
  • Install new equipment where required.
  • Interrogate, fault find and resolve any problems that are shown on the company’s equipment.
  • Active participation in and close out of assigned tasks associated with summer & winter overhauls to ensure all plant equipment is maintained and repaired as required.
  • Active participation and meaningful engagement in continuous improvement activities and meetings.
  • Completion of work permits as required and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.

Skills Profile:

  • Time-served multi skilled maintenance professional (18th Edition wiring regulations).
  • Relevant experience in a production environment working shifts.
  • Knowledge of PLC’s, Servo Drives, Robotics and line Automation is desirable.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with ability to prioritize key tasks and meet challenging deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and concern for standards with a keen results orientation.
  • Flexible and willingness to work shifts.
