Responsibilities:

  • Operate a loading shovel to move, position, and stack track mats within the yard for washing and storage.
  • Load and unload track mats safely and efficiently onto/from vehicles and trailers.
  • Carry out general yard duties, including keeping work areas clean, organised, and safe.
  • Assist with material handling operations as required to support daily yard activities.
  • Follow all site safety procedures and instructions when operating plant and working in the yard environment.

Essential Skills:

  • Relevant and valid qualification/certification to operate a loading shovel or similar plant.
  • Proven ability to operate plant machinery safely within a yard or industrial environment.
  • Good awareness of health & safety practices, particularly around moving vehicles and plant.
  • Reliable with the ability to commute to the yard using own transport.
  • Willingness to carry out general yard duties in addition to operating plant.
