Duties
- Safely operate LLOP equipment to load and unload trucks, ensuring timely processing of shipments
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records accurately
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic repairs or notify maintenance for mechanical issues
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper stacking, storage, and organization within the warehouse
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, verifying shipment contents against documentation
- Support warehouse operations by performing heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote a safe working environment
Skills
- Proven experience operating LLOP or similar warehouse equipment such as forklifts
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems for inventory control
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs and troubleshooting
- Excellent materials handling skills with attention to safety protocols
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts
- Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, including documentation verification
