A1 Jobs are seeking a skilled Engineer to join our client's dynamic team on a permanent contract. If you're hands-on, mechanically minded, and take pride in keeping machinery running safely and efficiently, this could be the role for you.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reactive maintenance as well as conducting planned maintenance activities where required.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment and machinery to ensure minimal downtime and maximum performance
  • Diagnose, service, and repair machinery and equipment
  • Carry out routine maintenance and safety inspections
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems
  • Maintain accurate service records and reports
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
  • Milling and turning specifically working with hardened materials
Requirements
  • Experience in mechanical and electrical engineering within Manufacturing, Production and Process environments
  • Milling and turning proficiency; specifically working with hardened materials
  • Proficiency in mechanical, hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Proficient in machine maintenance and planned maintenance
  • Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills
  • Good knowledge of preventative maintenance techniques
  • Team building skills and strong ability to work cross functionally
  • H&S Qualification; IOSH, NEBOSH etc
  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred
