Temporary position with the opportunity for permanent employment.

  • Monday to Friday, 6am to 4pm – with the possibility of working 6am to 6pm
  • 45 hours per week
  • £13.90 per hour – paid weekly

Please note: Own transport is required due to the location of the site.

As a Recycling Operative, your duties will include:

  • Manually sorting and separating waste materials on the process line to recover recyclable elements
  • Carrying out cleaning and hygiene duties to maintain a high standard across the site
  • Operating mobile plant and equipment where trained, instructed and qualified to do so
  • Reporting any defects affecting the safe operation of equipment immediately
  • Wearing correct PPE at all times and complying with all health and safety procedures

To be considered as a Recycling Operative, you will need:

  • Good physical fitness – the role involves regular upper body movement and standing for long periods
  • A full UK driving licence is advantageous
  • Previous experience in a factory, processing or recycling environment is advantageous
  • A reliable, safety-conscious approach to work
