As a Recycling Operative, your duties will include:
- Manually sorting and separating waste materials on the process line to recover recyclable elements
- Carrying out cleaning and hygiene duties to maintain a high standard across the site
- Operating mobile plant and equipment where trained, instructed and qualified to do so
- Reporting any defects affecting the safe operation of equipment immediately
- Wearing correct PPE at all times and complying with all health and safety procedures
To be considered as a Recycling Operative, you will need:
- Good physical fitness – the role involves regular upper body movement and standing for long periods
- A full UK driving licence is advantageous
- Previous experience in a factory, processing or recycling environment is advantageous
