Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking skilled and dedicated Scaffolders to join our construction team.

The successful candidates will be responsible for erecting, dismantling, and maintaining scaffolding structures on various construction sites.

This role requires a strong understanding of safety procedures, excellent physical fitness, and proficiency with a range of tools and techniques.

Applicants will be involved in diverse projects, contributing to the safe and efficient completion of building and refurbishment works.

Responsibilities

  • Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with safety regulations and project specifications.
  • Inspect scaffolding regularly to ensure stability and safety throughout the project duration.
  • Use hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly and disassembly tasks.
  • Follow detailed plans and technical drawings to ensure accurate construction of scaffolding systems.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters, bricklayers, and electricians to facilitate smooth workflow.
  • Maintain a clean work environment by organising tools and disposing of debris appropriately.
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries on site.
  • Assist in the transportation of materials and equipment around the site as required.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in scaffolding or related construction roles is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work, fabrication, or similar trades is advantageous.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in scaffolding assembly is essential.
  • Strong understanding of safety standards relevant to working at height and on construction sites.
  • Physical fitness and stamina to work in demanding environments for extended periods.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions accurately.
  • Valid certification or training in scaffolding (e. g., CISRS or equivalent) is preferred but not mandatory for all roles; training opportunities may be provided for suitable candidates.
