ssemble, catch, strap and palletise finished divisions from all Production Machinery. * Carry out general housekeeping duties in a safe and efficient manner. * Safe handling of pallets, using banders and the movement of pallets and cages by hand operated pump truck. * Safe movement of pallets by Electric Truck – only if trained to use the Electric Truck. * Place reels on to machines, remove strips from Assembler Strippers and stack these safely in cages or on pallets. * Carry out quality checks on the product to conform with strict quality controls as it is produced and placed on to pallets for palletisation. * Inform your Manager immediately of any problems with product quality to ensure corrective actions implemented as a priority. * Catching on Machines, checking bundles of work to ensure they have been collapsed correctly and contain the correct amount of divisions. * Strapping bundles of divisions and placing on to pallets in accordance with the packaging instructions and drawing layouts. * Prepare pallets for dispatch following pallet builds. * Safe use of hand strapping equipment and correctly palletise pallets with trays, strapping and stretch wrap. * Disposal of waste in line with environmental requirements and always disposed of in the correct type of waste bin. * Any other reasonable requests, to support meeting business needs. Skills, Knowledge and Experience * Competent experience from a Manufacturing environment within a similar role would be highly desirable. * Excellent manual dexterity. * Have the ability to act autonomously with a high-volume workload. * Be flexible in response and attitude in what is often a dynamic environment. * Be a good team player, with strong interpersonal and communication skills and willing to help colleagues. * Organised with a keen attention to detail
