The A1 Group is a well-established, family-run company operating across Scrap Metal, Loo Hire, Wet Waste, and Transport. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and experienced Class 1 HIAB Driver (C+E) to join our busy transport team based in Baglan, Port Talbot.
This role offers steady work, modern vehicles, and a supportive working environment with opportunities for overtime and long-term stability.
What We Offer
- £15.50 - £16.50 per hour (depending on experience)
- Overtime available
- Full-time, permanent position
- Monday to Friday - 7.30am - 5pm
- Occasional nights out

The Role
- Driving Class 1 (C+E) vehicle with HIAB crane
- Delivering materials to construction sites and customers
- Safe loading and unloading using HIAB
- Daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Completing delivery paperwork and job sheets
- Maintaining high standards of safety and customer service
- Following driver hours and transport regulations
Requirements
- Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- HIAB Certificate (ALLMI or equivalent)
- CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous HIAB experience essential
- Good knowledge of UK driving regulations
- Reliable and professional attitude
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
