About A1 Flue Systems: Based in Ollerton, we’re one of the UK’s market leaders in the design and manufacture of commercial and industrial flue, chimney and exhaust systems. Trusted by major clients across healthcare, education, manufacturing and retail, we deliver innovative, quality-driven solutions. As part of our highly respected Estimating team, you’ll be joining a business built on craftsmanship, collaboration and customer excellence.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Prepare detailed quotations based on drawings, specifications, and tender information.
- Liaise closely with clients, sales managers, and internal teams to ensure accurate project pricing.
- Analyse project costs for materials, labour, and equipment to produce commercially sound estimates.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain detailed documentation and pricing records.
- Advise clients on technical product specifications and the most appropriate solutions.
- Update CRM and Excel-based pricing tools, and ensure quotations reflect the latest drawings or revisions.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working as an Estimator, or providing quotations ideally within construction, manufacturing, or engineering.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and client specifications.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience using CRM software.
- Organised, detail-focused and capable of working to deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Experience with flue systems is desirable but not essential – we’ll support your learning.
