This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in engineering while gaining valuable practical experience and working towards a recognised NVQ Level 3 qualification in Lift Engineering.
The Opportunity
As a Trainee Lift Engineer, you will work alongside one of our experienced Senior Engineers, gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of lift engineering activities. You’ll have the opportunity to learn about the installation, maintenance, repair and servicing of lifts while developing the practical and technical skills needed to become a qualified Lift Engineer. The traineeship is fully paid and provides a structured route into the lift engineering industry.
Working hours:
- Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–5:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am–4:00pm
39 hours per week. Upon successful completion of your NVQ Level 3, you will be offered the opportunity to progress into a full-time, permanent position with A.W. Parry Lifts Ltd.

What We’re Looking For

- Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades A–C (or equivalent), including Maths, English and Science
