A.W. Jenkinson Transport Ltd are expanding our professional driver team and are now recruiting LGV C+E (Class 1) 4 on, 4 off drivers in our Scunthorpe Depot.
We’re looking for reliable, experienced Class 1 drivers who enjoy varied work. This is a full‑time, permanent position with guaranteed weekly income and consistent work year‑round.
In addition to our core bulk haulage operations, we also provide valuable support to our partners through traction work, including RDC operations and store deliveries.
The role involves working 4 on / 4 off. Dayshift start time is approx. 05:00/06:00 (avg 12hrs).
Site Health & Safety requirements include a clean-shaven policy, and due to some of the products we transport, for this role we would not be able to employ anyone with Peanut allergies.
Requirements
- Full UK driving license with LGV C+E (Class 1) entitlement
- Minimum 1 year Class 1 experience
- Maximum 6 penalty points
- Valid DCPC & digital tachograph
- Strong geographical awareness & understanding of EU drivers’ hours regulations
- Experience with bulk haulage (preferred but not essential)
