A.W. Jenkinson Transport Ltd is recruiting experienced LGV / HGV Class 1 (C+E) 4 on / 4 off Tramper Drivers to join our team based at our Runcorn depot. The Role

  • As a Class 1 Tramper Driver, you will operate our modern Walking Floor trailers, delivering bulk materials and palletised loads throughout the UK.
  • 4 on / 4 off tramping shift pattern
  • Working away from home during your shift block
  • Variety of nationwide work
  • Bulk haulage experience preferred (full training available)

Pay & Benefits

  • £16.50 per hour (no break deductions)
  • Minimum 42 hours per week guaranteed
  • Approx. £45,000 annual earnings
  • £26.20 tax-free night-out allowance
  • £10 per day tax-free meal allowance

Requirements

  • Valid LGV / HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
  • Maximum 6 penalty points
  • Valid DCPC & digital tachograph card
  • Good understanding of UK/EU driver hours rules
  • Minimum 1 year Class 1 experience preferred
  • Bulk haulage experience beneficial but not essential
  • 22 stone weight limit (due to fall-arrest gantry systems)
