Jenkinson Transport Ltd is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (LGV, CE) Tramper Drivers to join our professional transport team based at our Meriden depot . This is a permanent, full-time opportunity operating modern Scania vehicles and Chipliner trailers, offering £15.00 per hour , a £26.20 tax-free night out allowance , a £10.00 tax-free daily meal allowance , guaranteed weekly hours, and an equivalent annual package value of approximately £53,000 when tax-free allowances are taken into account. The Role As a Class 1 Tramper Driver (CE) , you will operate modern articulated vehicles and Chipliner trailers , transporting bulk products throughout the UK. What's Involved? • Monday to Friday tramping • Working away from home during the week • Typical start times between 05:00 and 06:00 • Nationwide bulk haulage operations • Operating modern Scania vehicles and Chipliner trailers • Consistent work throughout the year • Full training available for suitable candidates • Occasional Saturday run-ins may be required to support operational requirements This role is ideal for professional drivers who enjoy independence, variety, and the opportunity to work with one of the UK's leading bulk haulage operators.
