Carlisle Lake District Airport has an opportunity to join the team as an Operations Officer. The position will be based on-site at Carlisle Lake District Airport.
The successful candidate will undertake a number of tasks to ensure airfield safety. This unique role also includes duties as an aircraft refueller and the conducting of Air Ground Operator functions.
The successful candidate must:
- Have a passion for aviation.
- Have the ability to work under pressure alone and in a small team.
- Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Have the ability to build relationships with Aerodrome users, customers, agencies, and the Airport team.
- Have a positive, flexible attitude to their work.
- Be a problem solver.
- Be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Hours of work are 07:30 to 17:30 on a shift pattern, which includes weekend cover. We offer a very competitive remuneration package, including a salary sacrifice pension scheme.
