Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Southend-On-Sea for an Assistant Estimator/Quantity Surveyor. The successful candidate will assist with cost estimations, quantity take-offs, and preparation of tenders. Responsibilities include:
- Analysing project specifications
- Collaborating with senior members of staff
- Liaising with contractors and suppliers
- Monitoring project costs
The role involves contributing to ensuring the accurate financial planning and efficient management of construction projects.
Qualifications
- Proficient in quantity take-offs, material costing, and tender preparation
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and relevant regulations
- Strong analytical and numerical skills for cost analysis and budgeting

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and ideally, construction estimation software
