Customer Appeals & Complaints Advisor required for our Ipswich town-based long-standing client. This Customer Appeals & Complaints Advisor position is a fantastic role for someone who thrives on digging into the details to make the right decision and ensure claim appeals are assessed correctly. It is imperative that you are someone who has a keen eye for detail, with maintaining records of all the information provided and taken throughout the whole claim process to use this in assisting you in making the right decision for the customer.

The Role
- Review and assess appeals that have come in
- Handle customer complaints from start to finish
- Ensure you help and maintain fast and accurate answers
- Maintain detailed records of appeal cases, documenting decisions across the whole journey
- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
- Use judgement if an answer could be lenient but keep within the company policy and rules
- Fully investigate and assess the claim made by the customer
The Person
- Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident managing multiple tasks and priorities
- Confident using IT and willing to learn new systems
- Must possess customer service and administration experience
- Able to work independently and use initiative
- Reliable, trustworthy and professional
- Flexible and willing to take on additional responsibilities as the role develops
