This is a high-performance admissions role responsible for identifying, qualifying, and converting the right students into A-Team Academy. You will be the first point of contact for prospective parents and students, and you will play a critical role in shaping the quality of families who join the academy. This is a commercial, relationship-driven position where quality matters more than volume, and where judgement directly impacts the success of the academy.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing the full admissions pipeline from initial enquiry through to enrolment, ensuring that only high-quality, well-matched students progress into the academy. You will:

  • Respond to incoming enquiries promptly and professionally
  • Qualify leads based on fit, need, and alignment with the academy
  • Conduct initial discovery conversations with parents
  • Book and coordinate consultations with the Academy Operations Lead
  • Ensure a smooth and professional enrolment journey for families
  • Maintain accurate records of all enquiries and outcomes in our systems
  • Support conversion through structured follow-ups and communication

Once a student is enrolled, ownership of the relationship passes to the Academy Operations Lead.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role is not measured by how many people you speak to. It is measured by the quality of students you bring into the academy and the effectiveness of the admissions pipeline. Within this role, success looks like:

  • High-quality enquiries are quickly identified and prioritised
  • Low-quality or unsuitable leads are filtered out early
  • Consultation bookings are efficient and well-qualified
  • Students arrive to consultations informed, prepared and engaged
  • Strong conversion rates from consultation to enrolment
  • A smooth, professional and consistent admissions experience
  • Clean handover of enrolled students to the operations team

Key Performance Measures

You will be measured on outcomes such as:

  • Lead response time (speed and professionalism of first contact)
  • Qualification accuracy (quality of leads passed to consultations)
  • Consultation booking rate
  • Consultation attendance rate
  • Conversion rate from consultation to enrolment
  • Quality of enrolments (fit and retention indicators over time)
  • Accuracy and completeness of admissions records

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a commercially minded, highly organised and people-focused professional who is confident engaging with parents and capable of making sound judgement calls about fit and suitability. You may come from backgrounds such as:

  • Admissions or enrolment roles
  • Recruitment (agency or in-house)
  • Sales or business development
  • Customer success or client onboarding
  • Premium customer service or hospitality environments
  • Education support or school admissions

What matters most is not your industry background, but your ability to:

  • Communicate clearly and confidently
  • Build trust quickly with parents
  • Ask the right questions to assess fit
  • Stay organised and manage multiple enquiries
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism
  • Make decisions based on quality, not pressure or volume

Essential Attributes

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and organisation
  • Confident handling phone and video conversations
  • Ability to assess suitability and make judgement calls
  • Commercial awareness and conversion mindset
  • Professional, calm and consistent under pressure
  • Strong follow-up discipline
  • Comfortable working with KPIs and targets

This Role Is NOT Suitable For Someone Who:

  • Prefers passive administrative work over active communication
  • Struggles with phone or live conversations
  • Avoids making judgement calls about suitability
  • Focuses on quantity over quality
  • Needs constant supervision or direction
  • Is uncomfortable with targets and performance measurement

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary
  • Performance-related bonus structure linked to admissions quality and conversions
  • Clear structure, systems and training
  • Opportunity to work closely with senior leadership
  • Fast-paced, high-responsibility environment
  • Clear progression opportunities as the academy grows

Interview Process

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to interview in July 2026. The process will include scenario-based assessments and practical exercises focused on communication, judgement, and admissions decision-making. Successful candidates will begin structured onboarding and training in August 2026, preparing them fully for the role and systems within A-Team Academy.

Application Process

We are not just looking for experience. We are looking for judgement, ownership, and the ability to consistently make high-quality decisions under pressure. The role will entail working from 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday. If you are motivated by responsibility, enjoy working with people, and want to play a key role in building a high-performance academy, we would like to hear from you.
