We are currently recruiting for an Administrator to join a team based in Middlesbrough.
Responsibilities
- Acting as the first point of contact for customers, representing the Council professionally.
- Handling calls in a friendly, efficient manner, recording contact details, submitting service requests and processing payments using CRM systems.
- Welcoming customers into the Customer Centre and supporting them with online reporting, applications and payments.
- Providing reception support at central locations and responding to enquiries promptly.
- Maintaining knowledge of Council and public services to advise or direct customers appropriately.
- Escalating customer issues to the Customer Centre Coordinator or relevant teams where required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar administrative or customer service role.
- 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grades A–C / 5–9.
