A Star Care is urgently recruiting compassionate and dependable Domiciliary Care Assistants to support service users in their own homes across Scarborough, particularly in YO11 and YO12.

Your responsibilities will include
- Supporting service users with washing, dressing and continence care
- Medication prompting or assistance, once trained and authorised
- Preparing meals, snacks and drinks
- Supporting safe mobility within the home
- Completing clear and accurate care records
- Reporting changes in health or wellbeing
- Treating every service user with dignity, patience and respect
What we need
- A kind, reliable and professional approach
- Ability to travel between care calls in YO11 and YO12
- Right to work in the UK
- Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check and required training
- Previous home-care or care-assistant experience is desirable, although applicants with strong values may also be considered
- A driving licence and access to a vehicle are desirable but not essential
