Job Overview
We\’re looking for compassionate, consistent, and skilled Care Assistants to join a handpicked team supporting a gentleman. This is a community-based package offering full-time hours, including waking nights and day shifts, and requires a high level of reliability, professionalism, and emotional intelligence.
You won\’t just be \”another carer\” — you\’ll be part of a close-knit team providing meaningful, person-centred care where your presence and personality make a real difference.
Key Responsibilities
- Support with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, mobility, nutrition, and medication.
- Work in line with the client\’s individualised care plan, responding to changing needs with flexibility and sensitivity.
- Build a trusting, respectful relationship with the client through consistency and shared interests.
- Promote engagement and companionship through conversation, shared activities, and emotional support.
- Accurately document care tasks and observations using our IT systems and escalate any concerns appropriately.
- Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness, safety, and dignity at all times.
- Travel as needed within the local area (car driver preferred).
What We\’re Looking For
- Experience supporting adults with complex needs (preferred).
- Genuine empathy, patience, and emotional resilience.
- Ability to work flexibly, including waking nights and weekend shifts.
- Clear communicator – written and verbal English essential.
- Comfortable using basic IT systems for care notes and communication.
- A full UK driving licence is an advantage (but not essential).
