A motivated Buyer is required for our market leading, award-winning engineering client. In return, there is an excellent salary of circa £33k-£38k+ dependent on experience with excellent company benefits including annual company bonus and excellent pension scheme in an established reputable company.
The ideal buyer will have the following key skills and experiences:
- Good buyer, purchasing buyer, procurement, purchasing experience
- Good systems experience, ERP, MRP, SAP or similar
- Experience, knowledge of imports, exports, freight, customs clearance (advantageous)
- Good supplier relationship management experience and negotiation skills
- Experience of procurement processes within engineering, manufacturing or technical industries ideally or similar
- Desirable CIPS qualification, CIPS membership, supply chain qualifications or equivalent years buying experience (hands-on buyers experience more important than the qualification alone)
