The ideal buyer will have the following key skills and experiences; Good experience of purchasing, buying, being a buyer, purchasing buyer, procurement, purchasing experience Good systems experience, ERP, MRP, SAP or similar Experience, knowledge of imports, exports, freight, customs clearance (advantageous) Some supplier relationship management experience and negotiation skills Experience of procurement processes within engineering, manufacturing or technical industries ideally or similar fast paced environment with multiple suppliers This buyer role would suit a dedicated supply chain professional with good buying knowledge and experience of procurement process.
