A motivated repair Engineer, machinery service engineer is required for our award-winning engineering client. In return, there is an excellent salary circa £40k+ dependent on experience plus excellent benefits including an annual company bonus, generous holidays and an excellent contributory pension scheme in a well-established reputable growing company.
The ideal vehicle build service engineer, repair engineer will have the following skills and experiences:
- Engineering qualification: HNC, HND NVQ level 2/3 engineering or above ideally electrical, electro-mechanical or mechanical or any similar engineering.
- Service, repair, installation, diagnostic, calibration experience of large vehicles, heavy plant machinery, basic petrol, diesel engines or generators, large and small machines or similar machinery plant equipment.
- Good electrical engineering experience, hydraulic diagrams, engineering drawings and electrical diagrams, ideally automotive or vehicle plan.
- Voltage experience: 12v 24v is desirable.
- Ex forces, ex-armed forces engineers with heavy vehicle maintenance and repair experience are welcome.
This electrical vehicle build engineer role will be responsible daily for the repair, service and installation of safety and controls systems to control panels of the plant machinery. You will routinely be responsible for the preparation of the award-winning vehicles for sale to customers and fleet exhibitions so you must have excellent attention to detail, ensuring the plant machinery vehicles are in excellent clean presentable condition and fully safety compliant.

- Diagnostic, inspection, part identification, testing, service and repair, rectification of faults of electrical machinery at the depot.
