The ideal field service engineer will have the following skills and experiences.
- Service engineering experience of engines experience of fixing, maintenance of engines, any equipment with an engine, egmoving machinery, vehicles, cars, automotive, agricultural machinery, plant, battery powered, fuel engines, diesel powered engines etc
- Good mechanical or electrical, electro mechanical engineeringexperience -ability and experience in interpreting and reading hydraulic diagrams, engineering drawings and electrical diagrams
- Level 3 engineeringqualifications or above
- Previous field service experience and / or happy for field service role
- Commutable to Aylesbury depot on daily basis and happy for calls outs to client sites and servicing equipment at client sites across London and south. Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
- Service experience of large vehicles, HGV, FLT, heavy plant machinery, basic petrol, diesel engines or generators, large and small machines, plant equipment, construction plant
- Ex forces service maintenance engineers, REME technician engineers, RE plant operator engineers with good service and maintenance experience of plant, trucks, tanks, heavy plant equipment, fleet of vehicles, fork lift trucks would be of distinct interest.
The service engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair and service of the market leading engine plant equipment on site and at client sites across London. This role will include travel to customer sites in a company van so a full UK driving licence is required. You will be at the depot daily so must live a commutable distance.
